What is Frozen Shoulder Syndrome?
- I encounter frozen shoulder syndrome every day, and I am often asked whether I can help with it. Here’s an introduction and my answer for you! 👇🏼
Frozen shoulder syndrome is a painful condition that limits movement, where the shoulder joint capsule becomes inflamed, thickened, and gradually reduces the range of motion. This musculoskeletal issue typically develops in three stages:

1. Painful stage
- The shoulder gradually becomes more painful, especially during movement and at night.
2. Frozen stage
- Pain may decrease, but the range of motion is significantly restricted.
3. Thawing stage
- Mobility may slowly return, but this can take several months.
How can I help you as a chiropractor?
The most important aspect when treating frozen shoulder is:

- Gentle, pain-free mobilization that helps loosen the joint capsule and release muscle tension.
- Using the techniques I have learned and mastered, I work to release the stuck shoulder blade, gradually restore shoulder movement, reduce pain, and regain function.
